Email [email protected]. It goes to one inbox that we actually read, and we aim to reply within a couple of days. Tell us what happened and, for anything that looks like a bug, which phone you’re on – it helps us fix it faster.

Charactly Plus and the one-time unlocks are billed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us directly.

Manage or cancel a subscription from your device: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period ends.

Already paid but don’t see it? Open the app, go to the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases – that re-checks your account with the store. Still stuck, or want a refund question sorted? Email [email protected] and we’ll help. Refunds themselves are issued by Apple or Google.

The people you add and your past reads live on your phone, under your control: delete any of them inside the app, or remove the app to erase all of it at once. There is no account and no login.

When you use the Decoder, the conversation you paste or import is sent to Anthropic’s Claude to write your read and is not stored. Screenshot text is read on your device. The full detail is in our Privacy notice.

If you once saved a result on the website with your email, that’s the one thing kept off-device – email [email protected] and we’ll delete it.
